Just a couple of years ago some designers showed what they called mobile responsive website design. They did a demo that showed how a website would automatically reformat for the size screen it displayed on.
Just like magic. Wow, that’s cool. Expensive too – responsive design was the elite package.
Now, a couple years hence. Mobile design requirements are universal. Most business website templates include mobile responsive functionality at no extra cost. And Google is requiring it for search, making it a basic necessity.
Amazing how quickly things go from astonishing to everyday. From cool to ordinary.
A bit humbling, but it does make life better, doesn’t it?
