Our team partnered with Be the Gift again this year to provide well-deserving single moms and their kids with holiday gifts. This program is a team favorite, and this year we were able to gift 32 moms and 54 kids with their wish list items!

Be the Gift is a local nonprofit in Colorado that believes some of the greatest heroes of our time are single moms who give their lives to raise their children and provide for them. With their limited income and all their time poured into their kids, single moms sometimes struggle to maintain and repair their home. In addition to the holiday gift program, Be the Gift’s team of project managers and community volunteers work together to provide home repairs for single moms. They give them a safer, healthier and more functioning home in which to raise their children.

Through their years of service, Be the Gift has helped 890+ single moms and 1420+ children. We are proud to partner with this incredible organization year after year!

Our annual United Way fundraising campaign this April proved to be our most successful campaign to date! The Madwire team came together, through various events throughout the month, and raised $9,775.00 for United Way of Larimer County.

This year's campaign included a spaghetti lunch, corn hole tournament, ping pong tournament, pickleball tournament, and a 50/50 raffle.

We are so proud and grateful to our team for always helping to make our community glow, and we can't wait to surpass our fundraising goal next year!

We're always up to something at Madwire, and this month, we teamed up with Convoy of Hope to pack 600 hygiene kits for the Denver Dream Center! These kits will be distributed to homeless shelters, food banks, and into the hands of people who need them most.

Convoy of Hope is a humanitarian aid organization with a heart for those who are suffering. Whether it’s after a disaster, feeding a hungry child, or helping a parent put food on the table, Convoy of Hope is proud to deliver kindness to those who need it most.

One of their local partners is the Denver Dream Center, so it only made sense to do this volunteer project with a local twist. The Denver Dream Center was started to bring hope to the hopeless, and they exist to rescue people, rebuild lives, and restore dreams.

We are so happy to have been able to provide these much needed kits to the Denver Dream Center and continue to help make our community glow.

Every year, since 2017, the Madwire team participates in "A Backpack of My Own" program. This program, with the help of the communituy, supplies foster children in Larimer and Weld counties with their own, completely stocked backpack for the school year. Without this program, many of these children would go to school empty-handed.

This year, our team is proud to have filled and supplied a record-breaking 184 backpacks, bringing our all-time total backpakcs donated to 943! We love participating in this program every year and are thankful to be able to give back to our community.

Together, the 151 Colorado companies added 9,976 jobs and generated 4.5 billion dollars in revenue.

The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

Rachel came to Madwire as our Marketing Director in 2012 after working in marketing communications for a global business unit at Hewlett-Packard. Madwire®-Team-Donates-144-Filled-Backpacks-to-Children-in-the-Larimer-County-&-Weld-County-Children's-Services-System.jpg

The Madwire team was thrilled to participate in "A Backpack of my Own" program for the 4th consecutive year. This program provides backpacks and school supplies to children in the Larimer County and Weld County Children's Services system who otherwise would not have access to these very critical elements of their education.

Each year, the Madwire team has been able increase the amount of backpacks donated, and this year, we broke our previous record of 126 backpacks donated, and provided 144 backpacks to children in need.

This volunteer project is a team favorite, and we couldn't be more proud to participate. This year was especially special being that COVID-19 has made the need even greater. Children and teenagers coming into foster care often arrive with nothing to call their own, and that can be especially challenging during the school year.

Despite a global pandemic and sharp economic downturn, we were thrilled to be able to continue our gives back program in 2020, and provide direct support to over 45 local community organizations through pro bono work and monetary donations.

Philanthropy is a big part of the Madwire® culture, and 2020 didn’t stop the team from providing support to area community organizations. Through pro bono work, monetary support, and team volunteer/giving projects, the Madwire team was truly able to make a difference in our community.

One partnership, in particular, was extremely special in 2020. For the last five holiday seasons, the Madwire team has partnered with Be the Gift, a Colorado organization that provides practical assistance to single mom home owners in need of home repair, to provide holiday gifts for these moms and their children.

This year was especially special being that COVID-19 made it next to impossible for some of these moms to provide their children with holiday gifts, let alone purchase the items that they, themselves, need. The Madwire team was able to provide gifts for 30 moms and 40 children in 2020.

"I walked in and asked if I could intern there in my final semester. They said they didn’t require any design or marketing but they did need a new website. They asked me if I knew how to design and build a website. This was early 2005 and website design and development were still pretty new. I told them, no, but if they gave me a desk, computer, and a couple of months, I’d figure it out. So they did.

Over the next eight weeks, I learned everything I could about website design and development. I designed and built the website two or three times over before I felt confident enough to show the owner, Terry. When I showed her the website, she paused and said, “This is the best website I’ve ever seen. Not only is it beautiful, but it achieves all our needs and goals.” I knew at that moment I had a talent not many people had at the time"

Inc. magazine today revealed that Madwire® has earned a spot on its 39th annual Inc. 5000, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. This is Madwire’s 8th year on the list, and only 2% of companies who make the list ever make it 8 years in a row. Madwire posed an impressive 3-year growth of 94.02%. 151 Colorado companies made the list this year, 92 of which are repeat honorees. Together, the 151 Colorado companies added 9,976 jobs and generated 4.5 billion dollars in revenue.

The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

Not only have the companies on the 2020 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but the list as a whole shows staggering growth compared with prior lists as well. The 2020 Inc. 5000 achieved an incredible three-year average growth of over 500 percent, and a median rate of 165 percent. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $209 billion in 2019, accounting for over 1 million jobs over the past three years.
